Sticking to Our Guns
When we started The Pipe Guys, we agreed that our relationships and our principles would come first, even when money was on the line. Black Friday, as the name suggests, tends to be a very dark day each year. In the name of cheap TVs and bottom line profits, consumers and companies alike seem to “take the day off” from humanity. People are trampled to death in front of stores, employees are forced to leave their families at the Thanksgiving dinner table and work the overnight shift, and money that was put aside for a child’s future is dipped into because the newest tablet was just too cheap to pass up.
There’s no doubt that slashing prices, USING ALL CAPS, and exclamation points (!!!) sells more products, and thus generates more money. However, there are more important things in life than the bottom line. More valuable than any form of currency are the memories we make with family and friends. So on this Friday, with pipes in hand, we’re kicking it back with the folks at home. We hope you’ll do the same.
Happy holidays from The Pipe Guys!
