Classic Virginia from Wessex, part of the Brigade series, is a dark red Virginia flake, rubbed out to a smokeable texture before packaging. It is surprisingly complex, with buttery notes that compliment the natural sweetness. A wonderful blend for the beginning Virginia smoker, it represents the varietal well, but has little tendency to overwhelm.

Six Pence
Pipe Tobacco, G.L. PeaseSix Pence is yet another crowning achievement of the accomplished blender, Gregory Pease. The full year of planning, experimenting, and fine tuning this lovely blend really shows once flame is put to leaf. Six Pence is a bold broken flake of Virginia tobaccos, richly spiced with condimental dark-fired Kentucky and Louisiana Perique. As with all of G. L. Pease's blends, it has been created to smoke wonderfully when young, but will continue to evolve beautifully over the years to come.

Triple Play
Pipe Tobacco, G.L. PeaseTriple Play is G.L. Pease’s answer to those who enjoyed Jack Knife, but wanted a Virginia/Perique blend in plug form. Ripe red and bright flue-cured tobaccos are joined by Acadian perique, and a balanced measure of smoky, dark-fired Kentucky. The leaf is pressed and matured in cakes before being cut into 2oz bars. The resulting bold blend is a home run for VaPer fans.

Peterson, Pipe TobaccoPeterson's Irish Whiskey is a traditional Irish blend. Orange & mahogany Virginia tobaccos are mixed with aromatic Thailand Burley & dark fired Kentucky leaf. The whole thing is lightly flavored with Irish Whiskey (of course) for a smooth and unique aroma.

Pipe Tobacco, EsotericaEsoterica And So To Bed is a blend of finest grade Virginia and Maryland type tobaccos, which are carefully aged and blended with Greek Oriental leaf and top-grade Cyprian Latakia. The mixture is then specially processed and additionally matured to produce a full strength smoke with rich flavor and unique aroma. A fine smoke for the evening time.

Crown Achievement
Pipe Tobacco, Lane LimitedLane Crown Achievement consists of Virginia, Oriental, and Latakia tobaccos, and now, after a decade-long hiatus, Perique has made its way back into the blend. The original recipe was studied for the reintroduction of this blend, and the result is a rich, medium to full bodied English blend that will age gracefully.

Dark and golden Virginias are blended with black Virginia Cavendish and portions of Greek, Oriental, and Cyprian Latakia tobaccos. The entire blend is enhanced with a subtly scented fruit extract to produce a truly unique aromatic English of the highest quality.

Christmas Cheer

This year, the family run tobacco house has blended red, flue-cured Virginia from an outstanding 2010 Middle-belt crop near Durham, North Carolina. Superb sun-dappled leaf picked at peak ripeness, it is high in natural sugars and rich in oils. As always, it should age extremely well in the tin.
