Black Sea Sokhoum
Sokhumi is a long-conflicted area in the country of Georgia on the eastern shores of the Black Sea. The mountains and hills that overshadow it receive rain and sunlight in perfect quantities for the growing of Oriental tobaccos. From these slopes, McClelland sources the tobacco for this rich blend. The leaf is a strain of Samsun tobacco, with a slightly deeper, more cigar-like character than its parent tobacco, which comes through in the blend as a deep, mellow smoke.
