The difference here is the subtraction of the Latakia, which brings out in this blend a sweeter, more delicate character, yet maintains a wonderfully complex flavor profile.

The full year of planning, experimenting, and fine tuning this lovely blend really shows once flame is put to leaf. Six Pence is a bold broken flake of Virginia tobaccos, richly spiced with condimental dark-fired Kentucky and Louisiana Perique. As with all of G. L. Pease's blends, it has been created to smoke wonderfully when young, but will continue to evolve beautifully over the years to come.

Bold Kentucky

Earthy and smoky, the Kentucky takes center stage, with a slight nuance of sweetness. It's all married in a hot press for one unique taste. Like all the other HH blends made by Mac Baren, this blend has only an absolute minimal casing and no top flavor to speak of.
